Ran in the snowy, windy blizzard.  It was nasty it was horrible.  But I ran 1 hour for 7.14 miles at a 8:26 pace.  I felt good but my leg really was sore at first... both in the quad area.  I'm sure because of the weakest.  I think the endurance is there because I'm not tired I just need to work of form and building the leg up.

What I need to focus on:
1. Complete healing and making sure that my doctor approves with moving forward..
2. What pace feels comfortable with good form.
3. NOT worrying at all about speed that's not important now.  Strength is the important element.
4. Decide what I want to do after I'm healed.  (Marathon's maybe out the door).

My titanium rod leg was sore today especially in the hip as I trotted this morning with my friend Barry.  This is to be expected because of higher mile back to back days.  My endurance and fitness is great it's now the leg that's got to respond :-).  In time and I know patience is the key.  I ran 6:31 miles at a 8:38 pace in 54:29 minutes.

splits:  (9:17, 8:47, 8:23, 8:23,8:30, 8:29)

Couple of areas I need to work on in my eating is I use too much splenda/equal in oatmeal and coffee.  I need to also get more carbs back in my diet now that I'm running more.  I've totally left bread out of the diet.

Tired and sore today because I worked till 2:30am and got up at 6:30am to run...  I couldn't sleep so I got up.  I was doing a cut-over on a project that I've worked on for over a year to a new system.  I wanted to be at work in the morning to make sure the production was a success with all the users.

I ran/hopped/skipped/jogged/trotted/dragged  6:31 miles at an overall 8:48 pace in 53:53.  Leg was tired and sore probably do to lack of sleep.

Probably should have called a day off today for the running.  Oh well it's done and I can't redo the day.
