Long-Term Running Goals:

Worship the Lord and praying early in the mornibgs and keep doing that. Staying humble and desperate for the Lord and praying for end-time revival for America.

My Long Term goal is to just run whatever I can.

Hebrews 4:16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Haven't posted for a while.  But I'm doing good and running up to 6 miles a day for a few days then I cut back because of pain and soreness.  Went and saw the doctor today, and my x-rays look good and the gap in the bone with the rod is less than half of what it was two months ago.  I can run outside whatever I feel like according to my pain tolerance.  This is the doctor's approval.  The doctor said it would probably take up to a year before the pain in the leg is better and then I might be normal as before.

Today I did 4.11 miles at a 8:11 pace in 33:42 minutes.

Did 6 miles at a 8:20 pace in  50:36 minutes with my friend Barry.  For the last three weeks I've been averaging 30 miles a week varying

9:06, 8:38, 8:16,8:21, 8:01,7:38

To test the leg over the last 100m we did it in 6:40 pace.  It was hard and I'm sure my form wasn't the greatest.  I'm running again with soreness and pain but it helps.  Now if the blood issue would get better.

Did my longest run since the accident 8.21 miles at a 7:47 pace in 1:03:56 .   Felt pretty good and was getting tired towards the end.  8:20,8:00,7:52,7:36,7:44,7:53,7:28,7:23.  Very windy conditions.

Another great stepping stone for me since my accident. I actually ran a mile in the 6 minute range. I will display that below. It was very exciting and exhausting. I wanted to cry with excitement.

My friend Barry pushed me and we did 6.2 miles at an overall 7:48 pace in 48:20 minutes.

Run with Barry my friend today up Olympus Rd.  then down Chubbuck Rd, then we turned on Hiline Rd back to my house.  I did another 6:ish mile today but all of it was downhill mile.  Very good run where the first three miles are uphill then one downhill and the last two flat.  7.11 miles at an overall 7:47 pace in 55:23 minutes.  I felt really good on 4 hours of sleep because of my daugther getting home really late from her track me.

Haven't posted for a while been busy with work and other little projects.  I've been running pretty much everyday 6 miles around a 8ish to 7ish pace.  I've been running over 30 miles a week and feeling happy about the recovery. I still have soreness in the morning and night and it feels like I'm always rehabbing.  But, no time to feel sorry for myself I must get better.

Today, I ran 5.26 miles in 7:50 pace  in 41.11 minutes.  Cut the run short because I worked till midnight last night and was awaken at 3am by our partying neighbors which we called the cops on again.  The lack of sleep caused me to get up late and rush.

I'm running the first Summer series race next week called the "Law Day 10K"  I'm hoping to have fun and average around a 7ish pace.  I'm sure you all are aware that for me to care about a pace is plain dumb and I would be running it for the wrong reason.  This is for fun and good rehab.  But in my fitness and rehab now I think a 7ish pace is a good fun goal. 

Barry and I are going to run the course route tomorrow around 6am for me to get a feel on it.

Ran the Law day course with Barry.  It was fun and we took it easy.  We picked the pace up towards the end and it was fun.    Did 7.11 miles at a 7:49 pace in 55:36 minutes. The race is next week so this was a good test to see how I felt.
Splits 8:45, 8:13, 7:57, 7:48,7:21, 7:19,7:17
Then I did the Hospital Go race/fun run.

About an hour later I did the Hospital Go fun/run 5k and enjoyed it. Did 3.15 miles at an overall 7:44 pace in 24:21.  There was a lot of runners doing it to support the new Hospital.
7:34, 7:31, 8:00. The last mile and a half is uphill and I past so many and finished in the top 10 when I really didn't run hard or push anything.  I wanted to be careful since I ran 7 miles about an hour before this race.
