Ran 7:30 Miles at an overall 8:17 pace in 1:00:28 in a down pouring rain by myself.  No music, no Barry just me and the pouring rain.  I was soaked but it was fun even though the leg felt pain.  But I enjoyed it because I could run. 8:38, 8:35, 8:16, 8:14, 8:07,8:04,8:00

Ran with Barry this morning on a flat route for 7.20 miles at an overall 8:22 pace in 1:00:15.  Was a little sore later in the route.  The leg pain is still there.  I think I just keep getting faster because I tolerate the pain.  But it's almost been a year now of waking up with pain everyday.

Been away for a while but I've  been running consistently the last four weeks.  Last week I did 50 miles still with some pain in my titanium rod leg.  This week I did 40 miles and things felt good.

I'm planning on running the Pocatello Half Marathon in two weeks for fun.  Hopefully around a 7:45 pace.  Please pray for my body and I will return and pray for you all as well.

Works been really busy getting ready to start the new fall College semester.  We've don

Did 6.2 miles today.

First 10 mile run since my accident which is almost a year ago today August 24th, 2010.  Leg still has soreness and mild pain.  We did average 7:52 overall which was surprising.  My buddy Barry has been a great running partner and support through my whole recovery and I'm glad I did the 10 miles with him.

Did a hilly route up near Olympus Rd and back down with Barry.  The last mile is flat back to my house and I was actually able to pull off a 6:26 mile probably the second fastest mile since my accident.  I was excited.  Ended the run somewhere over 7 miles.

Another 7 mile run today with Barry.  We took it a little easier because of the great conversation and praying during the run.

I ordered the CEP Compression socks yesterday and should get them in next week before the Half Marathon.  Based on Jeff  Shadley's advice and others I'm going to try them.

Need to figure out what to run next week leading up to the Half  Marathon on Saturday.  I've been running 40 miles the last 4 weeks but want a good freshness in the legs.

Did 8.11 miles at an overall 7:32 pace in 1:01 and did the last mile at a 6:46 pace.  Well the Half Marathon next week.  I think I will be able to finish and it will be God's glory for what he's done for me this year.

Barry and I did two hill repeats around Olympus to get the uphill and the downhill.  I wanted to run some uphill today just as a confidence builder for the race.  Roller's are good to run when your running somewhat of the same on race day.  We did 8.11 miles at an overall 7:39 pace in 1:02.  Trying to get as much endurance for the race as well.

Ran with Barry this morning who wasn't feeling very good so we took it easy.  I was sluggish as well but the funny thing is we averaged 7:58 for the overall pace and none of it was downhill for the 6.1 miles.

I'm blessed for this what God has done.  Saturday will all be for him no matter what I run.  It will just be for fun. I'll start out in the high 7 pace area than decrease it per mile.  I would really love to nail the last three miles somewhere in the high 6 minute pace range.  But I don't know what my body will be capable of doing Saturday.
