Ran with Barry this morning who wasn't feeling very good so we took it easy.  I was sluggish as well but the funny thing is we averaged 7:58 for the overall pace and none of it was downhill for the 6.1 miles.

I'm blessed for this what God has done.  Saturday will all be for him no matter what I run.  It will just be for fun. I'll start out in the high 7 pace area than decrease it per mile.  I would really love to nail the last three miles somewhere in the high 6 minute pace range.  But I don't know what my body will be capable of doing Saturday.

Kory - I wasn't on the blog when you had your accident last year, so I didn't know the story, but when you made the comment about the titanium rod on Paul's blog today I went back and did a quick read through your entries.

No matter what happens on Saturday, you've already inspired me! To go through the ups and downs, and be where you are right now, only a year later says everything about your character as a person and your faith. If you are ever down in SLC I'd be honored to join you for a run. Best of luck to you this weekend. I'll be rooting for you!

Kory, Good luck Saturday. That was a nice article in yesterdays Idaho State Journal and a cool front page picture.

Just go have fun and run for yourself and the balance that you are getting back in your life. See you this weekend!
