am--6.25 Slept in a bit and hit Anasazi w/ Adam. It was good to catch up and a nice way to start Labor Day.

am--5 Worked on tempoing w/ some of the level 2s. I didn't run this afternoon because of miscommunication.

I finished A River Runs Through It And Other Stories by Norman Maclean. Made me want to move to Montana and plan my life around fishing and card games.

am--4 Easy stuff on the bike path w/ the girls.

pm--2.25 Lava Flow w/ a good crew, chanting and clapping and singing. It's pretty hot right now.

am--4.5 Canyons and back w/ 4x striders after. 
 

pm--2 A couple around the neighborhood. Discovered a secret trail.

am--5.5 Tuweap hill work w/ the varsity girls. Pretty impressive running from them.

pm--2 Success! In May, we got 2 pups. One is a Walker/Bluetick mix, and I'd hoped she would be a good trail buddy. I took her out this evening. She ran well, right on my heel. I only had to give a tug or 2 to keep her nose steady. She also seemed to handle the heat well. I'm pumped.

am--6.5 Anasazi w/ Tom. Some nice chatter today. 
 

I finished Less by Andrew Sean Greer. It's a globetrotting tale of a gay author post-breakup. Contemporary lit.
