Long-Term Running Goals:

Continue running as often as I can, as far as I can, as fast as I can. Teaching my kids (by example) the rewards that come from putting in the work. Very slowly get to 50 states.

Personal:

I'm married, with two sons, 18, and 19.

I started running because someone dared me to.

I ran my first race 3 days after my 40th birthday. (Disney)

4 on the trails. 3:30 PM. The biggest bobcat I've ever seen jumped out 10' in front of me on lap 3. Very scary.

Last week they had the end of the year banquets for the kids' school activities. There was a picture of our table at one of these events on facebook. I look awfully jowly and doughy in that picture. I have to assume that is what other people see when they see me. 

So, 10.2 miles in the sun today.
