AF Creek trail to Art Dye Park

43:20

AP: 8:36 8:52, 9:03, 8:42, 8:22, 8:01

We went camping last night and I didn't get out on the road until 11:00am. And it was WARM! Hooray for the drinking fountains still being turned on at Art Dye. I ran much faster than I usually do. I think because it was light out and I wasn't dog tired!

My legs felt heavy and my right foot was still bugging - 4/5 metatarsal area. It felt ok during the run, but after the run it really started to ache. Maybe too much too soon. Ugh....

I think I will take the next few days off.  I am not training for anything special and would rather rest now, then have an injury later.  Actually, I would like to have a personal medical staff to tell me what to do.

NICE running this week! You don't need no medical staff to tell you what to do. You know you can do hard things! :) Just enjoy the weather with leisurely run or do something totally fun. If it hurts, don't do it. If it feels good, keep it up! :) Ha! How you like them apples?

So happy you got to do some camping! :)

I wish I had a personal medical staff too! I hate aches and pains that make me worry, but going to the PT every week isn't quite practical either :)

Good luck, the time off won't hurt you. Just lunge a few houses every day! :)
