Tried to go on a run this morning but the jogging stroller had another flat tire. So I got the crummy stroller out (crummy meaning not intended to run with) and walked Jansen to school and then tried to jog with this crummy stroller. Yes, that was a sight in itself to see. I am sure who ever saw me out running was laughing hysterically. So I cut my run really short and I did not keep a time because of the circumstances. But I do know that I tried to run 1.5 miles and had a good laugh for the day! I have to add one more mile. I jogged to the school and back to pick up Jansen. I also have to add this is my redneck running day because I was in flip flops this time. I just felt like I need to jog some more for some reason and so I did! | Comments(5) |

2.5 miles took Jansen to school and then ran my usual 2 mile route back home. Glad to get the stroller back in working condition. Got caught in some mild rain. Jarren liked running in the rain. Time: 28:33 3.1 miles in the evening. Ran our La Verkin 5K loop with Dustin. Good run still quite hot out there. Time: 30:46 Splits: 10:15/9:43/9:51/:56 Good news at the Ence home. We found out yesterday that we got the house we put an offer on and they would
like to close by the end of the month. So we will be busy the next few
weeks, getting everything ready for closing, packing up the house and
making the move, all while Dustin is trying to get ready for the marathon. We're
pretty excited as the house is quite a bit bigger and just a year old.

| | 3 miles in the morning. I did not have to take Jansen to school today Dustin's parents did on their way out of town. So I decided to run the La Verkin 5K loop in reverse direction. I ran 2 miles stopped at my parents fed the cows and then 1 more mile back home. Good run No time. | Comments(1) |

No run today. I was dressed and all ready to go on a run but instead I helped my dad most of the day haul and stack hay. He really needed some help. So that was a work out in itself. Those hay bales are HEAVY!!! I am not sure many people have stacked hay in running clothes. Very itchy and pokey I might add.

Santa Clara Swiss Days 5K (3.1 Miles) 00:25:32, Place overall: 41, Place in age division: 5 | | Fun race! Lots of people racing. I think they said 500. Fastest 5K time so far. I did not time my splits but the runner card average was 8:13min/mi. Time: 25:32 | Comments(3) |
| | 2.5 miles in the morning. .5 miles with Jansen to the school. 2 miles with Jarren in the stroller. Took a different route today. Ran from my parents house past the cow field down state street up center street then home. Forgot my watch so no time on that route. My legs are still tight and sore from the race Saturday so I am pretty sure it was a slow time. | Add Comment |
