Stairs one hour.  Super sore from sitting in the splits at dance camp yesterday.  Getting old.  :|

15 miles before I got really sick at the marathon.  I pulled out of the UVM at mile 15 and had a volunteer take me down to the finish line.  Even though I was super sick and more frustrated, I still had one of the best marathon experiences ever!

I made it down to the finish line at about 2 hours and 45 minutes.  I got to see David finish his first marathon right behind the finish line.  I was so excited to see him finish.  He finished at 3:06 for his first marathon, seeesssshhh!  He did an awesome job.  He looked rather pale when he crossed the finish line and I got to catch him.  :)  I took him to the med tent and celebrated his special moment with him.  I was extremely proud of the boy!  BQ for a first time marathoner?  WOW.

As for me, taking a step back from running for a few weeks and feeling great about it!
