I was supposed to run with the running group this morning, so I woke up at 6:30 to get ready.   The leader of the group texted me and said she was still to full from Thanksgiving dinner the night before to run.  Jumped back into bed and told David I wanted him to run 10 miles with me.  Woke up 2 1/2 hours later and we both got ready to run.

We headed outside of the base onto a long stretch of highway going 1.5 miles west of the base.  We found a new highway that has opened up and ran back to base on that, loved it, no cars.  The wind was awful going east or south.  The rest of the run stunk, I felt gross and the wind was making me a grump.  David just kept running with me in good spirits, bless his heart.

We made a pit stop and went to his flight room on the base.  It was cool to see where he goes to learn how to fly everyday.  The room reeked of sweaty men and greasy popcorn, yummy.  I don't know how the students stay in a bright green painted room without any windows all day?

Back on the road we continued to jaunt into heavy winds.  I ran behind David so he would block the wind.  I was so happy when we finally hit 10 miles.  I was dizzy from the wind gusts when we got back home.
