12 w/ Heather today. Nice route w/ 2 loops, a flat wash field loop & hilly bloomington hills loop. 9:34 pace, not too bad considering all the hills the 2nd half. I feel pretty good after 12, but wish it was 14. I like to go over race distance a couple times before the race- Hurricane Half in 2 weeks. Tomorrow I'm running 10 w/ Heather again so she can hit her 40+ for the week. We'll see how I do w/ 2 back to back long runs, but right now I feel good (we'll see what 48 hrs. brings -ha!)

Mad that I spaced 'The Office' last night & I do not have Tivo! I just forgot it was on. Darn, will have to catch rerun or video. Was it good?

That sounds good, but let me think on it for a bit. I am a lot slower than you and would feel bad holding you guys back. Plus 6am is SO early!!! My cousin is in town to do the tri at the SHAC tomorrow morning so I have to find out what time that is and if I'm going. I'll let you know a little later today. Thanks for the invite!

From linda10k on Fri, Apr 18, 2008 at 17:08:11

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. It has been a crazy week. Having the girls out of school has thrown me completely off schedule. Where do you usually run? I would like to run with you but I'll probably have to wait a couple weeks until May 17th when track season is over. The Snow Canyon track team is helping with the triathlon tomorrow so my husband has to be there too. I was going to do a quick 6 miles outside then another 6 on our treadmill because I don't want to leave my girls alone. That will probably be my plan for the next four Saturdays because of track meets.

Hey Ladies!

Thanks for getting back to me. Mik'L, no pressure just let me know. And really you won't slow us down. This is a recovery run for both of us, so slow is welcome! If I don't see you have fun at the Tri tomorrow, they are so inspiring to watch!

Linda- I know this school break is screwing me up too, I can't remember what day it is! Is your husband a coach? When track season winds down you should join us for Sat. runs! We usually meet at Gold's Gym around 6am. Fun group of gals. Have a good weekend!

From linda10k on Fri, Apr 18, 2008 at 17:43:12

Yes, he is a coach but this is his last year at least until our girls get older. Is it the Gold's Gym by the Running Center?

From Christi on Fri, Apr 18, 2008 at 18:04:14

No, Gold's Gym by the Red Cliffs mall. I should be meeting up with the Running Store group more for runs, but they are too fast for me!

Holy Smokes! 24 miles in 2 days. You weren't kidding about wanting to up your miles!

What? A new episode of "The Offic" was on last night? Doh! Oh well, they usually have them on the ABC website a few days after they air them.

Try this:

Did I say "ABC"? I meant "NBC." You might have to go back to be able to get the season 4 episodes.

From Jody on Fri, Apr 18, 2008 at 19:21:47

Fantastic Run! 12 miles is great!

The Office was great last night. Definitely one of the better ones. Watch it online at NBC.com - It is well worth it!

Hey-if you are still up and read this, tell me what the plan is and I'll try and make it. I could plan to meet you at the gas station at a certain time or something. There is a decent 6.5 miler from my house around Green Springs. Let me know although I really don't want to get up that early! :)

From Christi on Sat, Apr 19, 2008 at 00:21:28

We can swing by and get you at your house at 6:30 am and do the 6.5 from there. How does that work? I remember your neighborhood, but remind me of your house number! I'll be up for 20 more minutes- hope you're still up!

From Christi on Sat, Apr 19, 2008 at 00:22:46

We'll just cruise by your house at 6:30 tomorrow, I think I remember the house number (probably have it in the paperwork you gave me also!)
