Yay for getting up early and getting the miles in.  Met Heather got in almost 6.  We were kinda slow (9:49) but that's Ok since I just raced & she ran a 22 miler on Sat.  Although, I'm not sore from my race at all, so I shouldn't let that be an excuse.

(Past) Time to get serious about the Hurricane 1/2 next month and start putting in the miles!

Good job getting up and getting the run over with! Good luck in your training for the Hurricane 1/2 - another PR for you?!

From Andi on Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 11:19:38

You got to me before I could get to you. I thought it was awesome that you got up early and were running this morning. Good job getting up.

Yes I do remember you from the party! Thanks for saying Hi! Good luck getting ready for the Hurricane 1/2. I am going to try and run the 5K if my knee will hold up!

From Mik'L on Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 16:33:27

Good job gettin out! Heather did 22 on Saturday?! Dang! That is craziness! You are gonna rock the Hurricane Half...wish I could be there (track meet).

From Christi on Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 16:55:48

Oh Andee, I hope I can PR at Hurricane 1/2, but I've learned not to just expect it. Its only 3 weeks away, oh no!

Thanks Andi for your support!

Sunny I hope your knee will cooperate so you can run the 5k! Good luck!

Mik'L- yah, Heather is doing the Ultra Marathon end of May- crazy girl! Hope track season is treating you well? Miss you at races!

Christi, thanks for the support, just bought a used mountain bike and getting it tuned up. I can only take so much indoor cross training and beached male whales. Gotta to feel that outside spirit.

Good luck training for the Half.

You are doing so well. I don't know how you do all you do and still find time to get good runs in. You are awesome.

From Jody on Mon, Apr 14, 2008 at 23:21:36

Great job today! Taking it easy is okay! Good luck at the Hurricane Half!

Good Job, Christi! Just don't be like me and start cramming miles too much. That's how I injured myself the second time. I was like 'AH! The half marathon is almost here, time to RAMP up!' Soon, of course, I was completely laid up and it set me back a lot. I don't know, though. You seem pretty tough. Not even sore after your 5K? Wow.
