Wow! Where did the week go! It went by so fast I didn't even have time to blog my runs until now.  Long story short, I had a pretty good week.  I'm 3 mi. short of my silver goal for the week.  I am going to walk tomorrow and cheat a bit by getting my last few miles via cross-training (walking).  Time to get serious about the marathon.  Its a long shot to meet my goal of 3:45 SGM because of my lame June & 1/2 July training.  But I'm going to take Aug & Sept. serious and just do my best!

Today I ran 11 mi. w/ Sole Sisters.  My body was struggling, after 6 mi. it got really hard.  Heat was part of it I'm sure (high 80's outside).  But thanks to good friends & conversation I made it through.  Our av. pace was 10:15 but that was with 2 gas station stops where I didn't stop the Garmin, so I figured we were running about 9:20.

(gonna go back & log my M-F runs for this week now)

Decided to put the link to my family blog on the left side of my blog profile if anyone's interested.

Good job getting out and getting a good long run in. You have been crazy busy! I just started a family blog, garrettandmarcie.blogspot.com. I have only done one post but its a start. I will add you to my bloglist.

Nice, painful sounding run! May you be blessed with a cooler-than-usual August.
