Took the sore foot on a test run today.  Happy to report its better.  Still a bit sore/stiff when I run but hardly sore at all to walk on now.  I wore different shoes today and that helped.  I think the problem was old worn out shoes, esp. since I roll my left foot a lot- the outer edge took the damage.  Anywho- I'm going to try to SLOWLY up the mileage this week.  I hope I can still do Bryce 1/2!

Good job on getting out and running but be careful with the foot! Do what feels good and good luck with bryce 1/2. I want to try that one, but I may just have to stop and check out the dinosaur track or better yet check them out before the race so I am not looking for them.

I think you will still do great on the Bryce 1/2. However, it's such a tricky thing to have race day and injuries work hand in hand to make a perfect race day. I hope everything goes in your favor!

Glad you are feeling better, but be careful. Hope the new job is going well and your family is adjusting to all the changes - that's the hard part:)

Laurie, Kim, Jody- thanks! My foot was better this morning but got worse later in the day. I don't know what the deal is. Still better than it was a couple days ago, so I guess that's good. I'm going to cross train tomorrow and try to run again Thurs.

Oh my gosh--I'm glad it is better! Good luck with Bryce. Don't jump back into too long of a run too soon!

Good to hear, I think our bodies like to show us who is the boss once in a while. Mine did as well this week.
