Nice long run w/ Sole Sisters today.  They were actually going 12 mi., I had to cut it short to get to Toby's BB practice.  Still, good run.  9:22 pace.  Glad I met with them so that I could be motivated to go longer than I would've alone. This was probably my longest run since Painter's 1/2.  I was hoping for a training run today in the double digits, but due to a late start waiting for all the sisters to arrive, the niner will have to do.  Let me tell ya, this is a cool group of women.  Most are in their early 40's and all getting ready to run Boston (again)  They are a hoot.  One of them runs by every fast food / drive thru window and car wash stall and looks for lose change.  She's up to $100 she's collected on runs.... Crazy? maybe... but fun!

Last night was the final night of sleep competition (I think?) I didn't log too many Zzzz's  last night so maybe Lybi caught up?  I'm glad its over.  I decided too much sleep makes me a LAZY gal.  Ready to get back to my 7 & 7.5 hr. nights!

Well- off for some more family fun (watch Arielle's dance and hopefully go out & grab a bite to eat)

Have a great weekend everyone!

You are such a sweet person, Christi!! I love reading your comments on others' blogs. You are so supportive and upbeat! I hope to meet you someday.

Great running! What a cute name!! I might have to steal it for my Saturday running partners. ;o)

So, who won the sleep challenge?

From Lybi on Sat, Feb 09, 2008 at 23:01:21

Laura--Christi won. And it wasn't even close. She DOMINATED!

Christi--I'm glad it's done too. But I do think that it helped fuel my big PR today, so thanks for doing it with me!

Glad you have a fun group of ladies to run with - it makes such a difference. Hope you were able to go out and get something yummy to eat!!

Christi, thanks for your comments, keeping running fun, not all work, is the key, love the name "sole sisters". I'm not sure that I would run via fast food places for change on the ground, I would spent the money as quick as I found it on a cheeseburger or something. Best for me to stay as far away as possible.

Stay Cool, B of BS Rools out

Sounds like such a fun group to run with! What a great inspiring bunch that know how to multitask! What a way to pay for your running shoes too!
