5K PR: Park City 5K 2009- 21:30 (2nd in AG)

10K PR: Freedom Run 1999 (1st race and only 10K)- 47:20

1/2 Marathon PR: Painters 2009- 1:38:37 (5th in AG)  Provo Halloween Half- 1:38:27  (4th in AG)

Marathon PR: Ogden 2009- 3:36 (12th in AG)

Short-Term Running Goals:

My goal is to run consistantly at least 5 days a week.  I would also like to bring my average pace back down into the 8's. 

 

2010 Races:

Painters Half (Jan): 1:45:25

Riverton Half (March): 1:46:29

Kamas 5K (July): 23:57

Hobblecreek Half (Aug): 1:43:33

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run as long as my bad knees will allow- hopefully forever.

Re-qualify for Boston.

Complete a marathon in less than 3:30 without having to walk at any point.

3.2 slow miles outside.  This run included parkway pallisades hills, as well as, the hill up 114 from the river bottom.  Felt great to be outside.

6.2 miles run outside.  AP 9:17.  Felt great to be running outside in decent temperatures.  Set out with no expectations on how far or how fast.  Once I got going I didn't want to stop but I started feeling it in my knee a little so I figured I better stop.  Overall my legs and lungs felt great.  Walked .8 miles to cool down and end with an even 7 miles.

1 mile assesment run using micoach. Then a 3 mi run at 9:18 AP. Ran outside in the dark. Tiring, but felt great.

Great 9 mile interval run using the micoach app by addidas. AP for the middle 7 miles was about 9mm.

9 miles may have been a little much as my knee started getting sore. I guess I'll see in the next few days.

.5 miles slow waiting for gps to pickup.  Then 7 miles with the following splits- 9:18, 9:30, 9:11, 9:15, 9:15, 8:58, 9:19,  then .5 miles at 10:00 mm.

Ran a loop from my house to 98th south on the JRP then up to 13th west, across 13th a back home.  Paces:  9:35, 9:21, 9:16, 8:58, 8:29, 9:28.  AP 9:17.  Elevation changes 299ft.

Went for a run to clear my head after a semi-frustrating day.  Its amazing how therapeutic running can be.  7 miles at a nice pace.  Felt great and when I got home my head was clear.  Paces: 9:21, 9:07, 9:02, 9:24, 9:12, 8:49, 9:19.  Elevation change: 285 ft.
