| 6.2 miles run outside. AP 9:17. Felt great to be running outside in decent temperatures. Set out with no expectations on how far or how fast. Once I got going I didn't want to stop but I started feeling it in my knee a little so I figured I better stop. Overall my legs and lungs felt great. Walked .8 miles to cool down and end with an even 7 miles. | |

| Great 9 mile interval run using the micoach app by addidas. AP for the middle 7 miles was about 9mm. 9 miles may have been a little much as my knee started getting sore. I guess I'll see in the next few days. |

| Went for a run to clear my head after a semi-frustrating day. Its amazing how therapeutic running can be. 7 miles at a nice pace. Felt great and when I got home my head was clear. Paces: 9:21, 9:07, 9:02, 9:24, 9:12, 8:49, 9:19. Elevation change: 285 ft. |

| 9 miles outside- brrrr was it cold. AP- 9:24. Splits- 11:35, 9:14, 8:49, 8:56, 9:14, 9:15, 8:44, 9:04, 9:39. Elevation change- 243ft. My gait felt a bit clunky- not tired just out of sync. OveraLl felt great to complete another 9 miles. | |

| 5.5 miles on the treadmill. AP-8:41. It was nice to be warm but the TM is so monotonous. Faster paces seemed easier today but I didn't want to push it especially since I've been increasing my mileage a lot. So far my knee is doing great. I'm wondering if the slower paces are helping. |

10.5 miles down 114th to daybreak lake and back. AP- 9:15. Splits- 10:14, 10:14, 9:59, 9:47, 9:48, 9:18, 8:31, 8:17, 8:29, 7:55. I didn't realize it when I was running but the whole way out to daybreak was uphill (and into the wind) so the run back home was awesome; with the wind at my back and gravity on my side. Elevation: 594 ft. Great run!

50 minute run over to the gym. AP- 9:05. Ran the JRP over to 126th, then ran the west side of the Parkway until it ended, then looped up to Lampton View and made my way over to Lifetime fitness. Perfect weather.

| Ran JRP from 114 to 126, then back on the west side until it ended, made my way up to Lampton view then over to Lifetime. Wanted to finish with 7 so I continued over to 106 making a few laps around the business park. 7.1 miles. AP-9:16. Splits- 9:14, 9:22, 9:28, 9:21, 9:06, 9:16, 9:03. | |

Ran to daybreak lake, around it, and back home. Didn't take any water so I ran 11.5 miles before I HAD to stop at a 7-11 to refuel. AP- 9:25. Splits: 9:35, 10:02, 9:59, 9:39, 9:49, 9:13, 9:33, 9:46, 9:26, 9:23, 9:07, 8:51, 8:12. Not the best run, just wasn't feeling it today.

| 7.1 miles AP-9:06. Wind speed- 100mph (atleast that's what it felt like). Tried to run the first part of the run into the wind, at times I felt like I was running in place. For the effort I exerted my paces should have all been in the 8's. Good run; great workout; awesome stress relief. | |
| Slow miles | Fast miles | Total Distance | 2.50 | 5.00 | 7.50 |
| 7.5 miles. AP-8:40. Wind or hill? Today I chose the hill- running up 114 to daybreak then back to lifetime. |

| 13.1 miles. AP: 9:14. Left from my house and ran most of the Riverton half route. Splits: 9:04, 9:15, 9:47 (hill), 8:58, 9:22, 9:23, 9:03 (lovers lane hill), 9:15, 9:21, 9:21, 9:25, 9:00, 8:43, & 8:24 (pace for .1). Not my best run. Spent the first five miles talking to my mom on the phone so I never felt I got into a grove. As I left the JRP I wanted to stop and walk but convinced myself to push on. I'm pleased to see the dreaded lovers lane hill was not my slowest mile- I did attack the hill hoping to get it over. I was hoping to complete the run in under 2 hours but didn't quite make it with a total time of 2:00:58. Felt great to be done. And I actually got the opportunity to take a short nap today, Yay! I still haven't decided whether to sign up for the Riverton half; I really don't care for the course, but it is local. Maybe it will fill up before I decide and then I won't have to contemplate it.

| AP-8:57. Splits- 9:23, 9:42, 9:36, 8:58, 8:27, 8:27, 8:29, 8:40, 8:49. .5 mile walk to cool down. Nice run! I felt great when I was done. Tried a new gps app on my phone and I hated it- it showed me running .5 miles farther than my garmin did, therefore my paces recorded faster. I wish the adidas micoach app was available on the android market. O well I guess i'll keep looking for something I like and keep wearing my garmin. |

| 13.1 miles. AP- 9:08. Ran from my house up 114 to daybreak. Ran around the lake and then back down 114 to lifetime fitness. Good ruin although I seem to struggle a little over 10 miles. Splits: 8:54, 9:31, 9:29, 9:43, 9:46, 9:13, 9:08, 9:14, 8:54, 8:40, 9:01, 8:51, 8:29, 8:18 (.1). Tried another new running app, which I did not like. I've just about given up trying to find something worthwhile for my mytouch. I'm debating on turning it back in and getting another blackberry. The apps seemed to work better on it. | |

| Ran my 9800 s. loop. Started out at a nice pace- 9:14 and then slowed way down for1.5 miles as I talked with an older gentleman (80ish). It was the best part of the run- great company and inspiration. Left him at his car and ran the final 3.5 miles at an AP around 8:30. Loved the rain, loved the company, loved the run. | |

Ran the JRP over to 126 (into the wind), up around the tithing hill condos to 13th west, across 13th to 106, down 106 to riverfront parkway, ended at Lifetime fitness. Great loop. Pace felt great. First mile was an 8:30. After that my phone quit working. When I went to check what was wrong I dropped it and shattered the face- hmmph. That's 2 phones in the last 2 weeks- not my month for phones. I think my pace stayed right around the 8:30 mark with the last couple of mile being faster. Awesome Run.

Ran/walked 2 miles with my daughter. We varied our speeds- sprinting on hills, walking to recover, and jogging. I let her determine what we did. She is 6 and has decided she wants to go running each day. This is her 3rd day in a row for a total of 8 miles.

Bluck- I did not enjoy this run. I'm not sure why I decided to sign up. My goal going into this run was to keep it easy and post a time over 2 hours. But, true to my nature I started out a little fast- I kept telling myself to slow down and enjoy the run but it wasn't until RAD kicked my butt up tithing hill that I actually did. After that I fought with myself mentally- I hated not competing and actually allowing others to pass me. I fought with my music, which would not stay on and I fought the urge to quit. I stopped and walked through water stops and 4 or 5 times to reset my music. Mentally, I think this was the worst run (of any kind) I have ever had. On the brighter side- I enjoyed seeing and talking with many of the BBK'ers. I miss running with them and hope after I get my knee fixed I can join them on an occasional run. But for now its best if I run by myself. AP: 9:08 Splits: 7:53, 8:08, 8:23, 9:12, 9:36, 8:58, 9:29, 9:31, 9:44, 9:33, 9:59, 9:34, 8:32,

| I had my ACL repaired and the lateral meniscus trimmed in my right knee on june 13. The doctor released me to run on wednesday. I did cheat and have run a few times over the past two weeks. I was really excited to get a last minute invite to do the relay. My goal going in was to finish without walking and to keep my pace under 10mm. I was very pleased to see my first mile was in the 7's and my AP was around 8:18 (i forgot to stop my watch for a minute or so at the end). I am very excited to start training again... | |

Ran a nice loop from my house to 98, down to 4800 west, back over to 114 and home. I was amazed to find the loop was almost exactly 13.1 miles. Overall I felt great. Running up the hill towards the Temple was a bugger though, the wind was blowing so hard I felt I was hardly moving. My AP was 8:59 with the following splits: 9:07, 8:55, 8:44, 9:02, 9:03, 9:04, 9:32, 9:24, 9:25 (Miles 8 & 9 were Temple road- uphill into the wind), 8:44, 8:31,8:28, 8:38. Loved getting out.
