GOOD JOB! Hey, I need advise. I want to get one exercise machine for xtrain purpose. I already have a treadmill. Do you have any recommendation?

Smooth,

One reason I like the elliptical is that to me it is truly less wear and tear on the body. I find it easy to just get on and build aerobic base. In addition, a good elliptical is much more quiet than even the higher end treadmills. (I also have a spin cycle like the ones in the gym, but honestly, I have not used it for years. I just don't like it).

So, most importantly, I suppose, is to get something that you will actually use and enjoy using. That said, all ellipticals are not equal. It helps to actually try out a few and find one which feels good for your particular stride. Arc Trainers are also awesome, but really just a different extension of an elliptical.

THANKS Paul, I'll try out different ellipticals.

Smooth,

When I researched getting another piece of equipment, I was amazed at how different the feel is on different makes and models. Fortunately, the one my wife liked best has turned out to be really good for me as well. We got one from Octane Fitness.

I would also look at Cybex Arc Trainer, but that is just my opinion.,

Thanks for those recommendations. I figure I come to the right person to ask. Where do you go to "test" drive these babies?
