Finally back at it, though I could feel the effect of my time off for the cold.
Since I am "the indoor man" I did 9 at 8:00 pace, 8 at 7:30 on the portable track machine.

Do you work in a library? Where do you get all these great old ads? :-)
Did your workout make your body "supple, graceful, and erect"?
Oh...my hats off to anyone who can do 17 miles on a "portable track". :-)

I was going to ask how you found the time to put in these long treadmill runs and how you can stand it . . . I think the longest I have ever run on a treadmill was 13 miles, and that was extremely tough. Nice and easy coming back from the cold - I have personal experience with what happens when you try to come back to quickly after them . . .

Mark,
I have secret sources. :)
James,
I just have to get up really early to get in longer runs. If I skip class at the gym it makes it easier to get in another 7 or 8 miles. I tend to err on the side of taking things too easy, but it has its benefits.

Another TM day...and 17. I'm in awe! How do you keep your mental state good for that long in one place? I guess its all worth it for that graceful body :)

Talk about jumping back in with both feet... 17 miles on your first day back. You're a mad man.

Rhett,
I am trying to do more because I recognize how far behind I am to the progress you have continued to make. Way to go.
