back to the hoka bondis. and my PF feels better already. these are really good shoes for the feet.  How they will affect my shin and posteriar tibial tendon remains to be seen.

Glad you found some shoes you like. I'm really surprised to hear you say that after the mostly great experiences you have had with minimalist shoes.

Glad to hear you're making progress.

Sorry to hear about the PF, it is NO FUN!!!

I was hoping to see you at the race this weekend, bummer!!!

Steve, I haven't given up on minimal shoes completely yet, just making a switch to see if I can fix this foot problem. and the bondis are actually supposed to emulate barefoot running by some weird mechaism.

Dave, thanks, hope to see you at a race later this fall. maybe first dam or smithfield turkey tro.

Kelli- I have been so out of it I didn't even know you were running the half. Nice job, I just read your report. I should be back for it next year. Of course I will be coming down for riverton in the spring, that is my favorite half marathon now.

From Kelli on Tue, Aug 30, 2011 at 21:53:51 from 71.219.67.82

It is a good half marathon, I agree. And a tough one, too. Hopefully it will not be the same week as the 50 miler again so I can be there!!!

Kelli, yeah, I hope they stagger those races next year. Riverton is a fun race. low key, friendly, cool awards, nice people. what more can you ask for?

From Kelli on Tue, Aug 30, 2011 at 23:30:35 from 71.219.67.82

No wind, I know most of us who live here and run that race would love for that to happen! Other than that, PERFECT!
