4:30am Judges 8 - 1 Samuel 2

Easy run. My right hamstring is still a little sore from Saturday, but not too bad. It was better towards the end of the run than it was at first. The morton's neuroma in my left foot is also bugging be again. I may have to go back to the doc for that.

I planned on going long today, but it didn't work out. Chafing sucks! I think I called it quits before the damage was too severe. If I recover, I'll try to do the rest of this 20 miler tonight or tomorrow morning.

9:30am 2Samuel 3 - 1Kings 2

Shooting for 20 again and my foot was hurting enough that I turned back towards home at 14 miles. It was fine until about 10 miles and then slowly got worse until I couldn't stand it any more. It hurts on the ball of my left foot just behind my 3rd and 4th toes. I'm going to try putting the gel pads back in my shoes and cutting out a small piece right there to relieve some pressure from that spot until I can get back to the podiatrist. Other than that I felt great! I changed up my route a little bit and added a lap around the lake before each trip up Farwest hill. I am lucky to live so close to such a great park.
