No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Slow!?

From baldnspicy on Thu, Apr 08, 2010 at 08:32:06 from 72.95.167.92

Ditto April's comment....plus, not consistent?? Your consistency standards are waaaay higher than mine! Consistent for me is a split anywhere between 8:00 and 10:00. If I'm doing that, I'm being consistent. :-) Seriously, great run! You're going to continue to kill your PRs this year! When I'm running and I start to slow up, I always think, "What would Rattletrap do?" and I start to sprint. :-)

From rAtTLeTrAp on Thu, Apr 08, 2010 at 11:19:27 from 75.230.83.119

I meant compared to the previous day on both counts. I only have one PR left to kill, 26.2. After that I'm not sure where my running will go.

When you start to feel slow don't think about me, just remember that it's the hard miles that help you grow the most and press on; just like life and our walk with God :)

Spoken like a true runner - humble and inspiring! Thanks! I heard that after you kill all your PRs and WTF - all within a period of 5 months, you kick your feet up and eat an entire box of Twinkies...can't remember who told me that though. Hmmmm :-)

From rAtTLeTrAp on Thu, Apr 08, 2010 at 23:50:22 from 75.230.101.181

twinkies are for twinkies. I'm a pop-tart guy... chocolate chip cookie dough pop-tarts are so good they should be a controlled substance.

oooh poptarts...I like mike and ikes...seriously I wish they would ban it so I would be so tempted!
