| I ran out past the old barn via canal road, my back seemed a little better this morning I've been hitting it with a lot of heat all weekend long so it seems to be helping, my foot was about the same just kind of there nothing to good or to bad so hopefully m I'm getting better. My average pace a little better than Saturday, 9:17 with my HR average at 146 my total time was 30:28... After the run I did my standard upper body weight training and then some push-ups, I plan on doing just 3 miles a day for the next week or so and then after that I might start bumping up the miles just a titch but that also depends on my foot and how it is doing. Later.

| I didn't run this morning in hopes that maybe my back would not be as stiff at work when I'm sitting all day but it didn't matter, I was just as stiff. So I came home and I tried the treadmill but my back just wouldn't let me do it so then I jumped on the elliptical and did a 10 minute warm up and then ran the contenders course which is 20 minutes for a total of 30 minutes. After that I did my standard upper body weight training and then I finished up with some push-ups. My foot and back were really giving me fits today, this is really getting to be a pain, I just wish I could get back to being healthy again. Maybe in my next life I guess! See ya tomorrow.

| My Daughter Sophie had a slumber party with some friends so they were occupying my workout room so I had to do it after work. I jumped on the elliptical to start, 10 minute warm up and then I did the fast track which is 20 minutes and it progresses to a 7 on the resistance and then back down to 1, a pretty good workout. After that I hit the treadmill for 1 mile, started out slow at a 5 and then progressed to a 7 and then backed down to a 5. My back felt okay but the foot was a bit of a bother but I got through it. I finished up with my lower body strength training, quads, calf's and the like. See ya tomorrow.

| I ran out past the old barn again this morning and the air was cool and crisp and beautiful! My foot was alright just a little sore and the back was still pretty stiff but it loosened up as I got going. My pace wasn't to bad for just taking it easy but in the middle of the run I was doing some sub 7:30 strides which was nice. My average pace was 8:51 and the total time was 29:14, with my HR average at 152 which is a little higher than it has been but that must account for the strides in the middle of the run, I was breathing a little harder during that portion of the run. I finished up with my upper body strength training and then some push-ups, its good to get my run done in the morning it just makes the day go better. See ya tomorrow.

| No running today as I am giving my back a rest after the Chiropractor worked me over pretty good yesterday, It's still not feeling real great but I am hopeful that it will be better soon. Its been a pretty tough go with all these injuries, I just can't seem to get a good training cycle in. Maybe as I get stronger with the strength training that will help keep the rest of these little things away. | Add Comment |
