I ran up Loafer again and ran the same route as last time, but when I get to the stop sign I turn left and head towards the mail boxes... My foot was very, very, sore from the get go, in fact I almost turned back about a block or two into the run but I couldn't make myself stop, I just told myself to suck it up and stay with it. When I finished I stretched and iced but right now it is extremely sore, so I don't know what to do! I will see how it goes in the morning and then go from there. My average pace was 9:10 with my total time at 37:35, my heart rate average was at 142... I wish this darn thing would get better, I really feel like I could get some good training in if I could just get past it,  oh well.

See ya tomorrow.

Clay, I know you have mentioned it before, please explain your foot injury? Also, can you cross train like an animal for a couple of weeks without bothering the foot? Maybe it would give it some time to heal.

Brent- I have Planter fasciitis, I have had it since about mile 24 of SGM... It has been pretty painful and it has been truly a royal pain in the butt! It even seems to bother me on the elliptical, it seems that if I don't run to far and to fast that it does okay.

I think the reason I am still running is I see guys like you who have it a hundred times worse, and I tell my self to quit being a baby and just suck it up. Stupid I know!

Clay, if you don't mind, you may have already be doing some of these things. I had the same injury a few years ago, could not get rid of the darn thing. My resolution to the problem:

Sleep with a medical boot on the foot

I got a cortizone shot in the heal, painful

Changed my brand of running shoes, went from an asics 2010 to a Nike Air Zoom Elite.

Made sure my dress shoes had arch support, many kick around or dress shoes are the big cause of the problem.

I have been doing the boot and I had a cortizone shot about 3 weeks ago and as far the shoes go I wear arch supports during the day but not when I run... You were right on man! The only thing I haven't tried is changing brands of shoes. I have tried Nike shoes but I don't like them and before I was in Asics I was in Sauchony. I have went from a stability shoe to more of a neutral shoe as of late, so maybe that has something to do with it... Maybe I need to go back to the stability shoe. I don't know!

Clay, what size shoe do you wear? If you wear the same size as me, you could try my shoes rather than put out the cash. I wear a 9 1/2

Brent- I wear an 11 dude. I have big feet and I'm a horrible dancer, thanks for the offer though.
