| | Met coach at Jimmy Johns at 6am. Ran up the trail past Center St for a couple miles, saw a herd of deer running. Then it got really steep and coach told me to go ahead. Got to the summit (3 miles, 2000 ft elevation gain) in around 39 minutes. Yelled Drago as loud as I could. Went to 40 and then turned around. Found coach and went back down, it was way muddy, rocky, snowy so that was sketch. Raced a little towards the end when it got flatter. 1:30 for .35 mi, 4:17 pace, coach would've beat me but he stopped haha. Finished to 6.5, 10:30 avg pace. Hardest but most rewarding run I've done. It was sick to run in the dark and see all the lights covering the valley. Amazing run, coach has really helped me put things in perspective.

| | Out on the JRT the golf course way, saw the Hinckleys, Parker, and Sasquatch on bikes. Turned around at the upper bridge and went back on some military trails, saw a couple deer. 5:58 average pace, fastest mile was 5:40. Didn't plan on going that fast or far but I needed to try and let some things go.

| | Walked/sled to the main gate. Ran on the road to the turnoff then through the snow toward the lake. Watch died when I turned around at 4. Cold and snowy, surrounded by pines, sled dogs yapping in the distance, perfect Christmas Eve run.
Traditional Christmas run. Ran 1 by myself then 2 with Tyson. Wasn't snowing as hard as last year but it was still lit. Finished at 12:02, hopefully I can still go to heaven. 6:50 avg pace

| | Mile warmup to the bridge, saw Chris Watson, he's a legend. Did drills then 15 min easy. Fartlek was 6 min, 3 min, 6 min with half off in between. First 6 min was 5:20 pace, 3 min was 5:05 pace, second 6 min was 5:02 pace. Had a side stitch the first two pushes but I got it worked out for the last one. JRT was dry for the most part so that was great. Finished up to 8 after, 6:10 average pace for the run.

| | Cold turned into a fever yesterday after my run. Took some children's aspirin and got some rest. Went pretty easy on the run, 6:55 average. Wore my sleeve, no foot pain. Did most of it on the road, saw a couple with their dog sled. Wanted to race them but they took a break.
Snowshoed a couple miles in the afternoon then hiked to the water tower and back for New Years.
