Doing a few more 1/2 marathons this year and continue to support new runners by running with them!

Blessed to live in beautiful Fountain Hills, AZ during winter/spring months then in beautiful Idaho Falls, ID in the summer/fall months! Thoroughly enjoy hiking, golfing, and running all year round (not into cold winter sports)! Married to Rob for 22 years ~ Two 19 year old college teens!

Belle ran so hard and fast this morning (didn't look like it though), she not only has a new PR (21:05 @ 6:47 pace). These are her stats:

45th place out of 1,137 runners

4th place out of 601 female runners

1st place in her age group!!! (13 - 15 year olds - 43 of them)

I'm so excited for her!

I hadn't planned on a medal today, didn't want to try that hard. I even stopped at the water stop to give my friend a hug, lol! I guess being bumped up to the older girls (45-49) gave me a bit of an advantage! Finshed 2nd out of 75 runners in that age group!

Thanks Burt, she is doing so well, not sure how she does that since I'm the only one she works with. We do intervals, but not usually quite that fast. She was visited by the high school track & field coach about perhaps being on their team, that would be fun! She was hoping to run for one of the high schools in Idaho, but they just weren't interested enough to call me back, oh well! We enjoy running and learning together, that's the main thing!
