What a great course!  I love running a half next to my all time favorite golf course. My time was nothing to write home about, but I had fun.  I think I'm getting better at setting my pace to match my fitness level (which is pretty low a.t.m.), so I don't completely crash at the end of the race.

Right at mile marker 6 a black wasp flew in my mouth and it took me a bit to spit it out onto the ground.  Somehow I didn't get stung.  Not sure if the people around me knew what was happening, I probably just looked like a weirdo. lol

OK, that is the scariest race report I have ever read! I am so glad you did not get stung! I am sure you entertained everyone around you for a minute.

Great job on the race, having FUN is a very important thing and we sometimes forget that is what this is all about!
