Today for practice I met Levi at the Highland Track for a workout. I jogged over to the track for a mile warm up, then we did 6 laps of "J's" then 2 laps recovery. We then walked over to his car, put my phone in the car and did a timed lap. I started 1 minute ahead of Levi because he has been doing these longer and he has his speed up, so I am going around the park feeling great really pushing up that hill then pushing hard the flat and on the downhill. When I get to the next uphill I am pushing up that hill then I died. Levi passes me on that. My overall time was 9:08 which is a 6 minute mile which is good considering my PR in a 3 mile course is 19:03. Then we did a 1.5 mile cooldown. We decided to do a different lap by going up by highland high school so I could go to the bathroom. When I walked into the bathroom all I saw was a brief case so I thought it was a bomb. But then I saw the person who was the owner of it. Overall it was a good workout that I needed. When I came home I did 3 sets of weighted arm swings.
