Today for practice I met Levi and Tony at Highlands track for a speed workout. So I jogged down to the track and did a mile of speed changes. Then I stretched for a bit waiting for everybody to get there. Some running club was there also and we decided to run with them. So the workout was originally 2 400s, at 80 pace, 2 800s at 2:40 pace then 1 1200 at 4:20 pace. But since I didn't know if I was running state on Wednesday or not Tony shortened my workout. So Levi and I on the first 400 did 77. Then the second also 77 seconds. Then I had to go to the bathroom but I was trying to hold it in for the rest of the workout. Our 800 was 2:40 exactly and right after the 800 I booked it to the bathroom. I missed the next 800 even though I wasn't going to do it. So on the 1200 I was just supposed to do the last 200 meters with Levi to have him kick it in, which he did really well. Then for a cooldown we did a big lap around the park. |
