Today for cross country practice we met at sugarhouse park. We started the workout with a warm up of running the state course. Since today was boot camp I was expecting a really hard workout. But in the end it wasn't that bad. So after the warm up we jogged over to the hill and we ran some hill loop that was just under .20 or something of a mile. Then Varsity did 10 hills and JV did 8. I did the 10 loops. I started out slow but then on each I increased my time at least by 10 seconds and my goal was to pass one person per loop. I did so. By about the 7th one I was totally sprinting on the downhills and on the uphills I was going way faster than the first one. Then we went over to the soccer field and did 2 sets of circuits. After those it was almost time for me to go because I had an appointment at 10 so I had to leave at 9:30. For my cool down I did a mile. Then I came home and did my hamstring weights and holding my knee up for a minute thingy. Then after school registration I am going to do my core and go for another 3.5 miles.

Tonight I went for a little run on my own. I tried to push the pace because I wanted to be done. I started out running down to sugarhouse park, do a lap on the inside of the park. Run back up to my house then finish out whatever I had to do after. When I had finished my lap in the park, almost every muscle was sore so I stopped and stretched for a little bit then ran back up. Stopped at my house and went to the bathroom then finished out the last half mile.
