Today for Cross Country practice we met at Liberty Park. We started with a lap warm up then a sort of stretching circle. Mostly it was everyone was in a circle then everybody stretches at there own pace. Then we broke into the groups for firemen. My group was group 2 with a variety of people. We probably had the biggest group because I only had to sprint like 4 times at most. Then we stopped and waited for the other group to get back, then we did a 2 mile cool down to finish out the day at 5 miles. I felt like I was pushing throughout the entire workout even though today was not a hard workout at all. My average pace was sub 8 minute miles so that means my speed is coming back, just in time for school. Then when I came home I did my core and my leg weights. Since we got done so early, I got to watch the entire episode of Dinosaur Train!!!!!!!!!!! After Dinosaur Train I took a 15 minute ice bath for tomorrows race.
