2 miles before and after weightlifting class. Feeling a twinge in my right shin (for a couple of weeks now), similar to what I felt after the Utah Valley marathon last June. It was shin splints last time, and I'm pretty sure its shin splints this time. Stress fractures don't usually "warm up" right? It seems like it feels better after I've run 1-2 miles and stretched my calves and achilles. I hope I'm right. I think its related weight gain from pregnancy? I've put on weight but my weekly mileage has stayed about the same. Blahblahblah, wordswordswords...I'm just thinking out loud now.... |
