| 1.5 mile warm up, 5 tempo miles @ 7:48, 1.5 mile cool down. Overall average pace 8:13. It felt great to go faster after going easy last week. |

| Treadmill run while the "Hurricane" was at preschool and the calm little one slept. I don't know what it is about running on my treadmill at home but I have the hardest time getting myself to do it. Of course, (like anything else in running) I felt better mentally and physically after the first three miles. I watched the Olympics and during the commercial breaks I sped up to an 8 min/mile. Average pace 8:55.

| What was supposed to be 12 miles turned into a little more when I underestimated a turn. This was a hard run. Probably because I ate too many Oreos last night. Nabisco knows how to show love with their double stuff. |
