Personal:

Married with 2 lively boys. I love running and I love getting faster. Just trying to figure out how to balance life between being a mother, wife, part time nurse, and runner. :)

When I was in 6th grade I filled out a Getting to Know You sheet. Under nicknames I wrote, "My brothers call me Boo Legs, I think its because I run fast." (It really came from the movie, Strange Brew) And its been my family nickname ever since.

Even though I ran inside today, I felt soooo much better because I can actually see the sky. (I'm sure a lot of people living in northern Utah feel this way) Lately, I feel like I've got some winter blues going on because of the crappy weather and air. Its been a real bummer not being able to run outside in the fresh air. Treadmill running gets old, there's only so many shows I can catch up on. Its been hard to find motivation. Struggling big time. Long story short, I'm hoping to run outside sometime this week before the crappy air comes back.....

average light intensity inside a home or office: 200-500 lux

light intensity on a bright summer day: up to 100,000 lux!

winter is tough enough -- adding terrible air pollution to the mix is killer. i'm so glad we got a storm to clean it all out.

nice run to start off the week.

Allie, first of all, I'm dumb and don't know exactly what lux means, I can assume (and now I'm going to google it) and second of all, thats a huge difference, no wonder we feel like crap, and third of all, you're smart.

Natalie, It would have been perfect if the last line of your comment said "your smart." allie is a real stickler when it comes to your/you're/yore. not so much with capitalization, though. All that aside, she is an A-1 source for answers to all your usage and punctuation questions.
