have had the flu, stayed home today but just had to get out.  despite semi-dazed visions I felt great being out in the sunshine.

Got up thinking I'd catch an albino fish that's trying to get away. Awesome morning by the bayshore to the bridge and back. Buzz saw in high gear.  managed an 8:14 avg

Rainy day run #2! Today I had a warmup walk and then nice run in a heavy rain. Proceeded to then eat and watch Olympics for about 2000 hours:) sweet

Late afternoon roll on bay shore, up to airport, started out feeling very slughorn but had moments of good vibes, nice to drop a DD. I don't think I ran into any poles or did any rowing but maybe next time!

After work in the warm sunshine eve. Closed my eyes and pretended was on the beach...then I walked home

Need to mix things up sometimes, left at 10 pm on this one, awesome eve run in moonlight, totally clear night. After dinner bloaty and feelin ill-prepared for r2r2r, headed up into rich people hills, mansions in the moonlight. At one point I somehow dropped/threw my phone into the shrubs in a particularly dark spot, had to crawl around for 10 mins to find it...tried to push up some hills, got home about 11:30ish. Keeping it straight

Harry and I got up early for this one. Awesome morning on the bay and sweet 12K across GoldenGate Bridge. This is one of my fav races for sure, felt strong throughout. Pretty awesome scenery! Did a mile warm-up before race, actually we had to run to catch the shuttle!!

I wanted to throw down some vert and miles to see how I might stack up against r2r2r.  whoa, its a long way, I thew together 2 of my favorite trail systems/loops, McNee Ranch up from Greywhale cove over to San Pedro State Park.  Felt pretty strong up first vert accent, about 4 miles of quick alt. gain.  foraged through some slight trails and vegitation (and some sweet bouldering hands needed) to connect over to state park trails, dropped down into park and stumbled, again, knee looks sweet, turned a corner and ran, almost, into a small deer. scared the pebbles out of it, climbed up Hazelnut trail, then back down to st. park main area, took brooks trail up past the dry waterfall, connected back to McNee ranch, took service road to the summit of Pacifica Mountain, then went down to beginning. long way, felt seriously sore coming back up out of San Pedro. Cardio felt great but the knees and achilles were aching, made me nervous for twice this far.  But, eased up as I went up summit, shambled my way down.  I am convinced after this that we DO need to run at night in Grand Canyon.  It got hot toward the end of this one, zapper.  Anyway, it was cool cruisin down the hill past the tearful and huffing saturday crowd headed up...HFF, SOA, Masters of Universe

i am officially a mopey runner.  spent from long drive through the night i suspect.  a bit of a weaksauce roll this morning.  the sunrise was a beaut though. hope to get some mojo going

really nice ride on the old Madone 5.2 today.  trucked up trousdale, over hill and dale, down Canada road, (pronounced Cahn-yaada) and back to crystal spings. sweet ride. love the bike, felt good. enjoyed the J. walker and stella after. Ascent 2924. legs o burn, need a angel manipulation

after my 3 month skin check decided to reward myself with a new pair o' runnin shoes.  they felt great, nice roll out to fort point then up to golden gate bridge, over the bridge and back then looped out to old residence along the presidio coastal trail. sweet scenery for sure. missed the HFF 

amazing views on the west coast of these united states, love it. nothing speedy but very satisfying. felt some fatigue but thought about donuts and I perservered.  up old san pedro, past bill's overlook, down to devils' slide road, and back gorgeous, this sorta deal reminds me not to be in such a hurry, all I gotta do is live and die....

no running but 11 miles of walking along coastline near pebble beach. awesome and tiring

day off, went up the hill after car to shop for timing belt and coolant system overhaul bleh, into hills of hillsborough, along skyline, down hillside, along bayshore trail and on into the afterwork aiaiaiaiai

After work before Giants World Series! Windy bayshore run

Sweet ride by the bayshore. Heavy headwind on the return, saw a squirrel attack a bird, cool 

Played hook from work. Sweet warm day, went out to sawyer camp trail after some yogurt and a nice maple bar. Overall kept up a decent pace, cramp up a few times but the tiger balm kicked in. Chased a hot gazellette for awhile but alas she peeled off too soon and this lion had to let her go... Out and back, the return is gradual uphill with a nasty hill last half mile. Good times. Yo, let's bike a bit in Moab. I'll check it out...

Sweet day with Harry. Left 4:30 am, drove to southern sierras, Kings Canyon Ntl park, started out at big meadow trailhead and hiked into, and accidentally past, Jennie Lake, fair amount of snow up top but was crusty and had some tracks, was sketchy though in a few spots but we found our way in and out.  14.12 total miles only ran 1ish in and then we ran out the 7 back, got pretty cold at the end. Cool area, bros need to plan some Sierra adventures

The HFF rolls on in canyonlands, full of sweet sandstone, cairns, dirt, sand, arches, epic views and brotherly wisdom. Good times
