Met the team down at the parkway and did a run to Bangerter and back.  I was at 7:15 pace for the run which was fast for me after being off for two weeks, and sick part of last week.  It felt good, but I will likely be sore tomorrow.

You were sick for a long time in the winter last year, weren't you? Was it a bad cold with an unending cough? I used to get that every winter following a sickness and it hung around FOREVER, until a friend tipped me off that some of it was probably irritation because of pollution or allergens. I took 1/2 a claritin every night for a week and it was GONE! Now I do that after each big illness in the winter. Saves me a long of recovery time usually. In any case, glad to see you are well enough to run. Well done!

I actually didn't really get sick last winter. It was two winters ago that was so rough for me. As a teacher I am exposed to a lot of junk, and my body finally wore out.
