The blister on my foot was gone this morning so I went for a pretty good run. Just a little over 8 miles. Most of the miles were slow all though one was at a 7:28/pace. It felt good to get back on the road, but I kind've miss the trails.

Mike, I have run some trails here in Utah, just not trail races yet. But you have definitely put an idea in my head now. I hear they have a trail ultra that will test anyone to their limits. Do you feel trails are easier to recover on? Just wondered why you like them so much..

Darkhorse,Trails seem to be easier on my joints and the seinery is much better. In the winter when the COLD wind is blowing it is much warmer in the woods.I think that trail running uses a different muscle group and the fastest horse does not always win.(not talking about you ofcourse).I truly believe that I am getting a better work out on the trails.Give it a try... You will love it.
