Today I ran 3.25 miles with one mile being a fast mile.I am going to run the Run 2 Calvary two mile race this Saturday in Tuscumbia and really want to do well.My goal is 14:30. One of my miles today was 6:56 and then I felt a little twitch in my right hip like I felt in my long run the other day so I took it easy the rest of the way.The 6:56 mile felt like it was about 85% so I was pleased.Tomorrow I will take a rest and be ready Saturday!!

Mike, I think you'll have a blast at the Black Warrior. You've done enough training to make it through, so be confident in that training and enjoy the race; who knows, you might like the atmosphere and decide to take the next step next year...
