My new shoes came in today and I had to try them out.The first 1/2 a mile was painful but the pain left and I ran one mile at a 7:23/pace.Maybe this will eventually fix my problems.

If this is the same injury I got many years ago than shoes may a help a bit. But what I found really helped was to alternate running days with the bike and to warm up very gradually. This one could take some time..

When it's warm stretch it out gently also. and ice it after if it's giving problems.
