Just for the fun of it, I thought I would try a 12 miler at the high school track. It was actually pretty enjoyable. I had the whole place to myself as it was late at night so I was able to change directions and/or lanes whenever I felt like it. It was a beautiful, quiet, breezy night. Not something I'm likely to do often but it was kind of a fun novelty.

Yep, 48 laps. I'm glad I had my Garmin so I didn't have to keep track of them. It wasn't really exciting but it was more interesting than the treadmill and I didn't have to worry about drunk drivers like I usually do at that late hour.
