Nice morning run under cloudy skies with my daughter. Ran up our road for the first time (instead of the usual down). Great workout. My daughter told me that she is planning to run cross country this year in middle school. Lifted weights: bench, curl, tri press and seated rows.

| Four nice hilly miles. Dropped my son and his friends off at a stake dance in cedar mill then went and found a middle school close by. Ran about 8 laps around their football/baseball field just as the sun was going down. |

| 3 miles of intervals: 1 min at 6.5 and 1 min at 5.2 for 30 min. (pre programmed treadmill workout) I felt kind of sluggish and ornery this morning and wasn't in the mood to go to work. Went to the aquatic center and determined to run until I was drenched with sweat and feeling better. The endorphin buzz was just what I needed. Didn't have time to lift weights so I will do that at home later tonight. How do some people make it through life without working out?
