Why is that? It has a good reputation, but why?

Probably a combination of a number of things. Fantastic trails just minutes from downtown.

As a road runner, the city streets are very ‘rolly’ that are fun to run.

There are bike lanes on virtually every street which I use early in the morning.

The residents are hyper aware of bikes/runners/walkers and are extremely considerate.

Outside of downtown city streets, there are limited street lights so you can run with the stars.

I just always seem to feel good here (elevation? dry air?).
