Elliptical hell for 17 minutes. I lifted some weights on my hammies, bad idea.

 Left home and ran 15 miles on the trail and up canyon road in the wind, turned around and came back down. Long morning. Glad it's over. My right quad is kind of buggin'. Currently icing. 

Off to Capital reef National Park till tomorrow. Then Salem days 5k Saturday. Hopefully my quad feels better by Saturday.

Just curious - do you do the pre-running "elliptical hell" to loosen up before you run, or just to get in some extra volume?

Jake I do it to loosen up and get extra volume yes. I did the same thing last year and I think it helped me learn how to run on already tired legs. I just think it helps. I feel like I keep fighting a hurting something or other this year though. I just want to feel good everyday. I miss those days...

Rachelle I thought you were doing a long run tomorrow, so I just went at it alone. We need to run together soon! :)

Hope you have a good time. You are hammering the miles in....and you always make me feel guilty about having an elliptical since I never use it!
