We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit. ~Aristotle

Ran 6.2 this morning. My muscles are obviously not used to this because they've been a little sore and tight all weekend. Started at a 8:40 pace for the first mile and a half. The next 5 were at an 8:06. So much slower than what I was doing, but I was told to start out slow and work back up slowly. I don't want to re-injure at all. I feel like I could speed up,cardiovascular I could handle it, but my joints and muscles say otherwise. I will keep working and try not to over-do anything.

34 minutes elliptical hell with Roy chatting my ear off. Weights.

It's not fast but I can run!!!  :)

Hi Jun :) I am glad to be posting again...and real miles! Can't wait to run with you! It's going to take some time for me to build back up tho. (boo)

Merri I am sooo happy to be back. It was horribly busy this morning in Gold's eh? No treads and everyone was waiting for them.

Scott I am back! :)

Carina thank you. You've been a big cheerleader to me. I appreciate you!

I'm glad to see you logging running miles again. Be careful not to re-injure yourself.

I really want to get a punching bag and set it up in the garage. Can you imagine the core workout I could get from doing that every day?

From Lily on Tue, Mar 01, 2011 at 09:58:28 from 67.199.178.210

Thanks Dale. I am so sorry you are injured. If anyone knows how you feel, I do. And yes, I will try to be careful. I admit it's hard to not push pace when obviously my lungs can handle it.

I say hang a punching bag. I was thinking about doing that this summer too!

Congrats on being able to run again! That can be mental torture to be injured and unable to run once you are so hooked. Good luck on easing back into it.

fast to me! Glad you are able to run again.
