Upper body weights. Incline presses, push up,shoulder work,  worked tri's,bi's lats. Crazy hard! Carina asked me the other day if I am seeing improvement and the answer is without a doubt YES! It's the combination of the diet and the new weight lifting regime. I am changing. I was gaunt from marathon training before, and now I am turning into a powerful lean machine :)

5 miles on the tm @fast-ish pace. The twice a week all out sprints are making me faster I swear!

I can't believe how quick I'm packing on the pounds reducing my mileage. You'd think 50 miles a week would be enough to maintain. Unfortunately I don't think it's muscle like you.

that's exactly what I was thinking Melody!! hope you took pics when you started!! I sure hope I am doing the diet part right to see the right results. What kind of diet does she have you on, in general? BTW WAY TO GO!! I Bet you are definitely what you just said you are : D.

I forgot to take a before picture, but I could just use a picture from the St. George marathon that I have. skinny fat :)

The diet is just lean proteins, low glycemic carbs, fruits in the morning, oatmeal, healthy fats. It's all macronutrient for my body specifically. But it works wonders.
