I slept in today and didn't do a thing. I have rolled the heck out of my butt and back and they feel good. I stretched as well with the help of my husband Shawn. I just wanted to write about how good my legs and butt feel today. I feel great! I can tell there is bounce back in my legs that was lacking for a couple weeks. I feel ready today. I can't wait until Saturday. The only thing weighing on my mind is the first half of the marathon. How to go about it exactly. And by that, I mean how do I slow myself down the fist half? I am the type of runner that uses the method: take off from the start and hangs on until the end. How will I do this? I am scared of the hills as well. Also, I am worried about the heat. Ack!
