8 outside. I felt kind of slow and sluggish. Must have been my two-a-dayer yesterday. (ran the river trail last night).  My fastest time this morning was on the high school track. I always stop there on my 2nd loop around to run some fast laps.

I am toying with the idea of running the SLC half on Sat. Maybe this is completely dumb of me to try. Maybe I should just do the 5k there. Decisions.... I just don't know how I would do in a half distance right now. I didn't run for 2 months straight, and only started back running about 6 weeks ago. So that's my hold up on a half. In another month I'd be ready.

ART therapy today.  This means preparing to feel like I was hit by a truck tomorrow.  :)

What is ART therapy? I'm assuming it is a detox/massage thing? Like I said before, I think you have more than enough in you to do the half and be successful at it! I honestly think you could easily hit a 1:30ish on the course, even with your months off. It is a GREAT course and I'd love to see you kill it!!

If you do it I think it should be more for fun than an attempt at a PR. The course is fun and the it's a big race so you can really enjoy having a lot of people around you. I say do it.

We'll be out cheering on the marathoners as they run right past our house. Unfortunately, the half people turn off a few miles before.

Go kill it, I know you can!!

If i were you, i'd run the half.

I don't think you should run it. Not yet.

Boo Hoo! You having a slow and sluggish run is faster than I could even sprint!:)

Agree with Jun, If you run the half- run for fun. Glad to see you are still getting ART, hope it continues to be helpful.

I say run the 5k for speed or the half fun or to see where your fitness level is. Whatever you do, I know you'll kill it.
