8.5 outside. Some days outside I can run pretty quick, other days I run slower. I don't understand why. These are the days I curse the 8 week injury, and the fitness I lost. Grrrrrr

5k on Saturday and I am feeling discouraged. I won't expect a sub 20 min. I feel pathetic this mornin'.

Overheard at the park yesterday from a skating teenager in goth, blue painted nails and crazy hair: "I think I'm destined to be just a regular guy."   -In your case, I would say 'regular' is a step-up. Way to aim high buddy.. aim high. ha!

Recovering from injuries takes time, but you get your fitness back. Just have fun at the 5k and don't worry about your time right now.

Are you running the SL Running Co race? We'll be there, you better come say hello.

I don't think it's a measure of your fitness. I think you're just as fast as ever, I just think your body needs some recovery, you've done some hard runs this week!

Do you actually chase a cookie or someone dressed up as a cookie? That would be cool.

You're not pathetic. It's pathetic thinking you're pathetic. Don't be pathetic. Ok, now I'm being pathetic.

Have fun at the race. I'm sure you'll be speedy.

Jun- I re-read your question. We will be chasing a male and female dressed as cookies. You have to pass your gender to get girl scout cookies as your reward at the end. Yehaaw! :)

Allie thanks. I needed to hear that.

Dale LOL!!! :)
