30 minutes of elliptical hell. 4 miles on the dreadmill, then 3.5 outside on the river trail. It was worm suicide out there this morning. SICK!

Going to start running in my axioms everyday and see if my foot pain goes away. If it does, I'll know it was all my other neutral shoes hurting me. I trained in axioms all last spring and summer. Brooks Axioms are for pronators. Went to the Dr yesterday and he thinks it may be a fascia problem. But not plantar, another part of the fascia up close near the big toe. If I do better in my axioms, then I'll know I was misdiagnosed as a neutral shoe wearer. Then somebody at runners corner is in trouble with me!

by the way, the river trail has crested its banks under the bridge. Kind of scary! I hope it doesn't flood the whole trail. Then I can't run there for awhile

I got custom orthotics because of my foot issues, and I LOVE them! You should see if your insurance covers them, mine did.

According to Runners Corner everyone is a neutral runner. I don't share my opinions.

LOL, I gotcha Craig ;)

Shoes are crazy, seems when you actually find one that works for you it doesn't last long because the shoe company goes and changes it anyway.

Did the doc give you any advice and/or stretches?

(Btw, every time I read your blog title I think, "That is so Lily!")

From DaleG on Thu, Apr 21, 2011 at 13:55:39 from 67.2.6.217

Hope those shoes make it all better.

Scary about the river. I drove by the Weber River on the way to work yesterday and it was close to flowing onto the road.

Everytime I read Lily's blog I think, "That is so Raven."

I totally agree riverton! Lame shoe companies.

Teena he didn't give me any new stretches. I am at a loss. He said he didn't think it was gout, but I was reading about it and it kind of sounds like gout. I have been on a very high protein diet for awhile and so it would make sense. Help! :) btw- my blog title has always been the same, and you are right, it is SOOOOO ME :)

Dale, the river here looks insane. If you could compare what it looked like last year to this year, your eyes would BUG!

Burt, I hope you're not talking about the teeny bopper' show that's so raven'. And NO, I don't look like her. Not at all.... but, yesterday at the Dr I did see a magazine with Alanis on the front, and I do sort of agree I look similar to her. People always tell me I look like Jennifer Conelley, Avril Lavigne, Sandra Bullock or that I sorta remind them of Cher (because of my hair).

Ok, I think "That's so Lily!" too, but I use the Raven theme song.

You boys are funny. :)

Lily~

First, I *LOVE* the new pic!

I don't know much about gout at all. My hubby had it a couple of years ago in his big toe. They put him on Celebrex. I remember him waking up in the middle of the night because it was even painful when the sheet would move across his big toe. :(

Can you see the swelling? Does it feel like it is burning?

From Lily on Thu, Apr 21, 2011 at 16:15:29 from 67.199.178.210

Teena I see a tiny bit of swelling and it does feel like it is burning off and on. Scary. I'm scared.

From Lily on Thu, Apr 21, 2011 at 16:16:01 from 67.199.178.210

Teena is your husbands gone now? How did he get rid of it?

From Teena Marie on Thu, Apr 21, 2011 at 16:19:18 from 67.2.100.158

Ry saw a rheumatologist (I think). The celebrex took care of it.

But I remember he waited a while and every day it got worse and worse!!!

Thanks Paul, aka my theme song writer.
