10.1 pm miles 1:30:42  8:59 ave pace.  B street route, cemetery, home.  This type of day makes me feel like a runner.  Time to ramp up my mileage.

4.65 morning run.  got to wear shorts, looks like all next week might be in shorts too.

16 seconds slower than last year, I thought it would be worse so I feel okay.  I really need to hit the training hard, I'm slipping.  Beautiful day for a run, unseasonably warm.  I was able to race in shorts and that's nice.  40°-45°.  

This race is a 6k up City Creek Canyon then back down into Memory Grove, fun course.  I did a littler better than I thought, been feeling a little off for a week now and still feel a little funky.  I am very happy to have won a 3rd place metal.  No way I could have done better, the two guys ahead of me were a good few minutes faster.  I am now going to sloth for a few days mixed with a daily run.

7 miles out and back from home.  59:31  8:30 ave.  Had a great 5 day weekend.  Ran a good race, had a good meal.  Lost control this morning and had a piece of pumpkin pie followed up with cherry pie and vanilla ice cream.  I think I will never be the same.

4.75 pm miles  42:12 8:53 ave pace   Nice warm night.  I would have been a perfect night to have logged more miles but I had to work late and get home.  I'm feeling the increase in mileage, I was tired at work today and extra miles this evening would have been tough.
